Zilyn Yeoh
Zilyn (Zee) Yeoh’s story with music began at the age of three. She started her journey with violin, learning with Judith Glaister (Former President of Suzuki Music Sydney) from Suzuki Music Association in Sydney, Australia. She continued her study in Malaysia with Mr. Yasufumi Shimano (Resident Conductor of PESSOC), Dr. Andrew Filmer (Professor at Sunway University), and Mei Yoke Lo (Founder of Musica Sinfonietta Orchestra). Zilyn completed her violin Grade 8 with the Royal School of Music, and her diploma certificates with Trinity College of London. She was also involved in her state orchestra, Penang Philharmonic Orchestra, and Musica Sinfonietta. She participated in the Euroasia Strings Competition in 2015, winning a Gold Award. To gain experience in teaching, she had completed the Suzuki Method teaching program in Sydney, Australia, and had brought her students to the Sydney Opera House to perform. She is currently studying Bachelor of Arts, violin performance at La Sierra University, taking lessons with Professor Jason Uyeyama.
