AVPA Music

My name is Sofia Duenas and I've been playing french horn for about six years now.  I'm studying music education with a minor in psychology at La Sierra University.  Middle school is where I was first introduced to the horn and I soon realized I loved it.  My last year of high school was when I was awarded the John Sousa Award, which is a prestigious award given to those with "outstanding musicianship and ability".  I've improved a lot throughout the years and I'm still learning to this day.  The same way I love learning, I love to teach as well.
