Abel Gonzalez
Abel Gonzalez is a student at La Sierra University currently doing his Masters in the Arts in Education (MA). Abel is from Oaxaca, Mexico and holds a Bachelor degree in Music Education by the Montemorelos University located in Nuevo León, Mexico.
He studied piano under Mtro. Jonathan Pacheco, Mtro. David Aguilar, Dr. Jidong Zhong and is currently studying with Dr. Elvin Rodriguez. Abel served as pianist for the Montemorelos University Orchestra during his senior year and also performed with them as a soloist and composer. His versatile skills have led him to collaborate with a diversity of choirs, ensembles and bands as accompanist and conductor in Mexico and the US.
Currently he also studies Composition and Conducting with Dr. Ariel Quintana.
