Nathalia Boeira

Nathália Boeira is a flute player and a Music teacher. She started her musical studies in 2009 in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, with the help of a few programs that had the goal of starting a generation of young musicians (the majority of them coming from public schools).


In 2022 she graduated with honors from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, one of the most prestigious institutions in the country of Brazil. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Flute under the orientation of Prof. Dr. Leonardo Winter. During her academic life, she took classes and masterclasses with some of the most prominent flutists from this
generation, amongst them Tom Ottar Andreassen (solo flute, Oslo Philharmonic), Michel Bellavance (UK), Christopher Lee (CAN), Christine Beard (USA), Nicole Esposito (USA), Elena Cecconi (IT) and Jorge Salgado (PT).

Nathália participated in many music festivals throughout Brazil, engaging in solo, orchestral, and chamber activities. She also had the opportunity to connect with young musicians from all over the world. In July of 2021 she was a finalist in the Aldo Parisot competition, alongside young musicians from all over the country. During her time at the University, Nathália developed substantial work in Chamber Music,
collaborating with pianists, singers, string players and classical guitarists. Between 2020 and 2021 she was a part of the Academic Orchestra at UFRGS as a flute and piccolo player.

She taught in many Social Projects and private music schools, such as UCS Youth Orchestra, Projeto Mais Música RS, Projeto Teutônia Cultural and Vacaria Symphony. Many of these programs bring classical music to children, adults and the elderly all over the state
of Rio Grande do Sul. In 2016 Nathália became an effective flute and piccolo player at the Symphonic Band of Caxias do Sul and worked as a guest musician in different orchestral ensembles throughout the state.
She is currently studying at La Sierra University in Riverside, California, under the guidance of Professor Martin Glicklich. Nathália is pursuing her Performance Certificate in flute.
