Isabel Pulido

Isabel Pulido is a student at La Sierra University, studying Bachelor of Arts in violin performance, where she currently studies violin with Professor Jason Uyeyama. She was accepted to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division at the age of ten, where she previously studied with Alisa Rose and Eric Chin. In 2014, Isabel was the featured Young Artist on an Art Showcase program by a community radio station in Stockton, California.

In 2015, Isabel made her first solo debut at the age of twelve, performing with the Central Valley Youth Symphony where she won the orchestra’s concerto competition that year. She then went on to perform with the Oakland Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2018, after placing second in the concerto competition.

 

Isabel had the privilege to serve as concertmaster for the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra. She was also fortunate to perform in China when the youth orchestra went on tour in 2019. In 2021, Isabel won first place in the Philadelphia International Music Festival’s Annual Concerto Competition. During her time in Philadelphia, she had the privilege to be selected to perform in a masterclass with Kimberly Fisher, the principal second violinist of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Isabel has attended numerous summer festivals such as the internationally acclaimed

Curtis Institute’s Young Artist Summer Program, Luzerne Music Center, Meadowmount School

of Music, Interharmony International Music Festival in Germany, and the Philadelphia

International Music Festival.
