Cody Breyer

Cody Breyer is a guitar player whose versatility is only rivaled by his charm on the instrument. He first picked up the guitar in college at La Sierra University, where he received his B.M. in Classical Guitar Performance. His determination and love for the instrument have blazed paths for him through countless venues throughout the United States and Canada—playing with individual artists, gospel groups, jazz ensembles, corporate event bands, and cover bands.

His list of artist involvement includes the voices of major gospel artists such as The Spencer Lee Band, Kierra "Kiki" Sheard, Le’Andra Johnson, Johnathan Nelson as well as other up-and-coming pop and hip-hop artists like Travis Garland and Seefor Yourself. His notable performances include television appearances on Good Day LA and En Vivo.

Cody is currently pursuing a D.M.A. in Studio Guitar Performance at the University of Southern California. He is very passionate about music education at all levels of study. This is apparent as his choice of academic fields for his D.M.A. is Music Teaching and Learning, affording him further growth in his journey toward excellent, informed, and integrated instruction. Aside from his rigorous gig-life, academic endeavors, and teaching schedule, Cody can be found playing gospel regularly in his hometown at Mt. Rubidoux SDA Church and Riverside Second Baptist Church.
