AVPA Music

Alberto Calvillo has studied music for two decades and has performed in many large venues. He has performed in places like Walt Disney Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall with various La Sierra groups, Lucas Oil Stadium with Gold Drum and Bugle Corps, and throughout Europe with the La Sierra Wind Ensemble in the summer of 2017.

 

Alberto has poured his heart into the La Sierra Music Department to help in any way possible since his time as a student there. He held numerous positions from working the front office to being the head equipment manager for the wind ensemble and now teaches music lessons.

 

Alberto graduated from La Sierra University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in music and is a practicing professional percussionist and session drummer in Southern California. He also does instrument repair and builds drums and other instruments during his free time.
