Sandra Fabiola Fermin is currently a Senior at La Sierra University. From Whittier, California, she started performing in school and community choirs at the age of 10. As part of her high school experience, she was involved in the advanced choir while also performing in school musicals. She performed as a chorus member in productions, as well as in roles such as Nancy in "Oliver" (2013), and double-cast as Annie in "Annie Get Your Gun" (2012). She has participated in Broadway Scenes, performing in roles such as Maria in "The Sound of Music" and Lady of the Lake in "Spamalot". Amongst other noticeable performances, she performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall. She also participated in the West Coast premier of "Little Nemo in Slumberland" and as Nella in the Opera "Gianni Schicchi" (2015). She was the 3rd place winner of the Marguerite Marsh Vocal Competition in 2017. She has worked with Choral Conductors such as Dan Hawkins, Dr. Shawna Cross Stewart, Dr. Robert Istad, Dr. Christopher Peterson, Dr. Tammi Alderman, Dr. John Tebay, Dr. Grant Gershon, Dr. Leslie Leighton, and Dr. Ariel Quintana. She has had the opportunity to work with singer and vocal professor Fabiana Bravo in her Bella Voce seminar. She is now currently studying voice with Dr. Raejin Lee.
Sandra has been member of the La Sierra University Chamber Singers, along with the University Chorale. She is also a member of the Honors Program at La Sierra University. She often performs as a vocalist for worships around campus does special music and praise in local churches, alongside many other extra curricular activities.
