Millicent Enriquez was born in Manila, Philippines in June of 1998. Her interest in music was initiated when she was three years old at which time she began taking piano lessons. At 10 years old, she also began learning the harp under Laura Porter. In May 2008, Millicent won the silver award at the Young Artist Harp’s Competition in Bayward, California. In addition, Millicent was the church pianist and choir accompanist of White Memorial SDA Church in Boyle Heights, California for three consecutive years. She has studied under a diverse group of teachers including: Mina Perry, Cristina Rivera Ocdamia, Dr. Hedy Lee, and Dr. Kimo Smith. She has been featured several times on the Christian network 3ABN on their channel "Kids' Time Praise." During her senior year in high school, Millicent was the director of her school’s reenactment of "The Sound of Music." Millicent graduated from high school at San Gabriel Academy in 2016. She is currently attending La Sierra University in the pre-nursing program. Millicent is also a member of the LSU Wind Ensemble in which she plays percussion. This past summer (2017), the ensemble had the wonderful privilege of touring around Europe. Aside from music, Millicent loves traveling around world, baking for her loved ones, and hiking steep hills in the Inland Empire. She loves working with children, and hopes to become a pediatric nurse in the near future.
