AVPA Music

Sun (Gloria) Lim has been studying violin since the age of nine starting formal lessons with Ms. Hye Ryung Oh and  Ms. Ki-Wan Park at Seoul Sam Yook Elementary School. She continued her study with Ms. Erica Colbert (New Zealand), Mr. Jack Krumbein and Mr. Mischa Lakirovich (United States) and has been involved in various school ensembles and school and local competitions. She has completed a Performer's Certificate Program at La Sierra University studying with Professor Jason Uyeyama and working as student assistant for Dr. Dean Anderson as well as an orchestra librarian/manager of La Sierra University Orchestra. She has also participated in praise team at various SDA churches as a pianist and a violinist as well as teaching. She is starting teaching at AVPA this academic year.
